About the Business
My name is Amy and I am a degree educated and qualified nursery nurse. I have worked with children for just over 18 years in nurseries, children's centres, schools, and more recently overseas as a professional nanny. Being a Newark girl at heart, I have decided to leave behind my international nanny life and have returned to my home town to become an Ofsted registered childminder. I live on a lovely tree lined street in a terraced house with a safe and enclosed garden. I am in walking distance to the parks, shops, playgroups, children's centre and library.
It is just me living in my home, and my dining room has become a carefully designed playroom. As a person, I am trustworthy, hard working, and a dedicated childcare professional. In my spare time I like to meet up with friends, cook up yummy healthy food, take regular exercise, and read read read! I love books of all genres, and I aim to pass this love of books onto the children in my care (so far this has been a success!)
