What is an Integrated Children's Centre? Integrated Children's Centres (ICCs) have been built in every county in Wales as part of the Welsh Assembly's strategy to improve outcomes and wellbeing for all children. Based on the idea that providing integrated education, childcare, family support and health services are key factors in determining good outcomes for children and their families. In any one community in Cardiff there are a number of different activities and services catering for the needs of young children and their families. These services may be delivered by a variety of different organisations including statutory, voluntary and private providers.
In addition to services offered at the centres each ICC also acts as a hub for the community with a wide range of organisations delivering a variety of activities for children and families throughout the year.
