Playdays is a privately owned children's daycare nursery which offers the highest standards of care and education in a stimulating environment. The company is owned and run by local people who have formed a dedicated, enthusiastic, friendly, well qualified and experienced team. The nursery opened in September 2004 following the extensive refurbishment of the Old Grammar School. The property, which was previously unoccupied, has been extensively renovated to create a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment, whilst retaining much of its original character. The original building was built in 1799 and is set in an acre of land which has been landscaped to create a large outdoor learning environment. The gardens are used for outdoor play, picnics, reading, for observing nature and growing vegetables and plants. The outdoors at Playdays is very much an extension of the learning experience within the building. Take a look at our photos.
