About the Business
The original Poplars Day Nursery, Sherwood - opened in 1993 - was, and still is, a family run business. Throughout that time our head teacher, staff, parents and children have helped to research and develop a unique approach to care and education.
Since 1993, we have developed an outstanding reputation based on our unique approach to providing care and education for babies, toddlers and pre-school children between the ages of 12 weeks and 6 years.
The Poplars Process ensures that your baby/child is safe, secure and well cared for throughout their time at our day nurseries and embraces the Human Scale Ethos, in creating a small, family friendly learning environment. We have proven that our small groups develop a sense of belonging for your family. This reassures you when leaving your child with us for the first time, and allows for more effective communication.
